Hemp-derived THCA is a non-psychoactive form of cannabis that is compliant with the Farm Bill. THCA, or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is a naturally-occurring compound found in the hemp plant. It is the precursor to Delta-9 THC, the primary psychoactive compound found in marijuana.
Hemp-derived THCA is extracted from the hemp plant and is available in various forms, including oils, concentrates, and edibles.
When THCA is heated through the process of decarboxylation, it becomes psychoactive Delta-9 THC. This allows the user to enjoy the effects of THC but with a legal product in Tennessee, Georgia and most other US states.
